Multi-talented comic Seán Cullen returns to the stage in the legendary backroom of Toronto’s The Rivoli - where he got his start as a comic performer - for a formal portrait sitting. Turns out he can’t keep a straight face and neither can the artists as he proves to be a subject with a wandering mind and a series of mugging poses. But Seán drops his comic persona when he’s brought face to face with three dramatically different portraits, and suddenly, he’s getting personal. Which artist has captured his true self, and which portrait will he choose to keep?
Seán Cullen is a multiple award-winning comedian who has been touring and performing for the past 20 years. He has done numerous feature films and written five novels. Seán also starred in his own CBC series, The Seán Cullen Show, appeared on shows such as The Ellen Degeneres Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Late Show and many comedy specials. Seán combines stream of consciousness improv with uncanny mimicry and broad musical talents to create a style that is his and his alone, one of the many impressive reasons why Time Magazine featured him as the vanguard of comedy’s next generation.
